A Mentor of the Week All Ready to Become Co-Founder, Local ABC4All / Cameroon!

ABC4All Mentor of the Week Assignment: What Is Uppermost On My Mind?

Mentor Of The Week (MOTW)

I am Ntiokam, Divine a Cameroonian by nationality and have interest for MDGs to be archieved by 2015 which will eventually give room for further research at young people's domain.

Reason being that they are the future leaders of tomorrow, much has too be done from time to time in order to encourage them to be responsible and to avoid misfortune.

That said , I hereby call on stakeholders, governments, NGOs and Associations to come and lets join hands in order to let this happen at the future levels.

What's uppermost on my mind?

Being a youth activist since 2004, it has always been my life's dreams and goals to help people and especially youths suffering in all its terms and am ready to assist whenever its possible from my end.

It prompted me to ask myself the following questions:

  1. Divine why do you think you want to help people in your community setup?

  2. If so, then how can you go ahead to make sure these people gain from your help?

  3. What is then the selection criteria or basis of assistance ?

  4. If so when should the principle be applied in order to meet the desired goal?

From tha above questions , the response that came into my mind was VOLUNTEERISM which is the art of doing work for love and definitely glad seeing people having a better life.

Finally, after reading Dr. Dobson James book on how we should look at life I learnt the following :

To be successful you should be able to :

  1. Identify what you like doing

  2. Have ability to do it

  3. Do what the community / society needs

  4. Commit it to the Almighty

These few statements struck my mind, and I believe we can all apply these principle.

In conclusion, I hereby call on all volunteers to join ABC4All and extend to their various networks for this is the only way we can have a world full of peace, harmony, love and success.

With TIG there is no borders between us - only what we need is to be online to make new friendships between each other and respect one another.
