Hi All,

Greetings from LWDG-Cameroon. I'm happy to send you this link of our water project report. The project was funded by Thirst Relief International USA and implemented by Life and Water Development Group - Cameroon in two months. We installed 8 stand taps and completed the pipeline of close to 3km in the community of Nkuv, Cameroon. This project was to extend these stand taps to the other parts of the community, where 14 stand other stand taps has been constructed by LWDG-Cameroon and EWB-Hope College USA. The community is a very big community and many people still had find it hard to walk long distances to get their water, and that's when Thirst Relief came in to extend these stand taps closer to these people.

Thirst Relief has also funded a biosand filter project in this same community where over 225 filters have been constructed and distributed to each household in the community. These filters help them improve the quality of water they drink. It's been a great change in the lives of the people living in this community. The video project report found on the following link:
http://www.vimeo.com/13865717  shows you how the community participated and their comments about their satisfaction with the project.

We will continue to save lives by providing access to clean drinking water to the people of the world where need be.

Thanks and hope to read more comments from you...
