I’m so fired up by the content of McGill’s Voice of Reason. I really must get hold of the full book. It’s a real companion for champions of a better world for all, like myself – and quite timely. ABC4All is a powerful medium to achieve real social change in the world – raising $250,000 in one evening for one cause through its Jazz For Peace initiative is simply out of this world. I’m confident that we can get most of the funds necessary to successfully pull off the Summit through Jazz for Peace.

Critically acclaimed by some of the world’s top humanitarian, academic, and counter-culture icons, McGill’s Voice of Reason is an illuminating, yet distressing plea for safety and freedom in a world of uncertainty, violence, and liberty lost. Sometimes eloquently poetic, other times harshly incriminating and shocking, McGill delivers a lovely and inspirational, yet thought-provoking book about the balance of mind and heart.
Voice of Reason is a wake-up call for a world in deep crisis, a world which is becoming a global battlefield, and where our poor relationships are increasingly based on self-interest. Exploring the true nature of violence, the destruction of diversity by monocultures, and the cancerous growth of unchecked, predatory corporate capitalism, McGill paints a grim picture of today’s materialistic consumer life. Speaking directly to the heart of revolution, from Zuccotti Park to Tehran, McGill believes we must revolt against the endless manipulation and oppression of modern life, and reject the traditions of violence, which have made each of us agents of violence ourselves.
McGill explores many solutions to our cultural, political, economic, and environmental miseries, such as achieving greater individual consciousness and compassion, empowering youth, and restoring the woman to her rightful place, as the strong, loving maternal leader of peace and reason. As McGill writes, “The battlefields of life were first meadows and gardens. We made them into battlefields, and by the same power, we must release the dark spell, so they are meadows and gardens once again.”
"Voice of Reason:" a Companion for A Better Community For All Mentors?

In his book, "Voice of Reason," author Bryant McGill tells us he is "Speaking to the Great and Good Spirit of Revolution of Mind."
What he could not have known is that, after 15 years of the development of A Better Community For All (ABC4All), it easily could have been that included in the "Great and Good Spirit of Revolution of Mind" he was addressing in writing this book were the minds of ABC4All Mentors. Indeed "Voice of Reason" often articulates what has not necessarily been so explicitly expressed in the many concepts offered by ABC4All. In many instances there is a perception that the author and ABC4All have been on parallel, but consonant tracks. What will happen if those tracks intersect? An intriguing question!
ABC4All Youngsters Revolution
ABC4All Youngsters Revolution was created by 2 ABC4All Mentors from Uganda. We know of many areas of the world where young people are, indeed, creating a revolution and declaring their desire to impact the world so it can be better for all. Susaye Greene references in the introduction a "wake up call crying out for help." Nigerian youth have their "Youth Manifesto." Ben Mackenzie, singer, songwriter, actor, teacher has donated an original song for ABC4All, "Lend a Hand," with one of the lyrics referencing "The Cry of the World." It is the voiceless without water, food, shelter whom ABC4All represents first and foremost, then "anyone alive who is receptive."
CELEBRATION OF ONENESS
McGill is offering "a positive bridge of thought leadership...to help the innocent, youthful mind of revolution to arrive home safely." Repeatedly he points to the fact that "...we are all one in this great experience of life." ABC4All CELEBRATION OF ONENESS has been an underpinning for ABC4All Concepts.
THE CRY OF THE WORLD
Exercising freedom to live a life of choice in safety for all people in all stages of life is a must, states McGill. Listening to others, he suggests, and demonstrating caring are key. In McGill's view, the "voice of reason" tells each of us to reach out and help others. Service to those close to you and to answer "The Cry of the World" is paramount. Love and respect change everything, he says. Francine Jarry has created an original song for ABC4All: "The Children Are The Guardians of the World;" and another for ABC4All Mentors, "We Are The Ones (We Have Been Waiting For)." McGill states, "...all children would live in a world of limitless possibilities, where each soul could reach the heights of their potential to love and to be loved."
Reaching "Health Heights" is a common theme of ABC4All. Being in a position to share information about advanced technologies allows for sharing "The Path of 8 Petals," a new paradigm for health created by ABC4All Co-Founder, Robert Chew.
HARSH REALITY VERSUS ANTHEM TO HUMANS
The author takes a hard look at what can be the harsh realities of the world. He warns us against "psychological mind control techniques," many of which are standard daily fare with which we are all too familiar such as bombardment by advertisers for products that can actually be harmful to humans. These techniques can be viewed as attempts at distraction away from the potential to "seeing the obvious ways we could co-exist in the world as a co-operative human family."
"...let us sing an anthem to the marvelous human being."

"Let us fly the flag of sisterhood, brotherhood and oneness. Let us raise our hands to our hearts in the revelry and glory of friendship, respect and common decency." So says our author.
RESTORING MEADOWS AND GARDENS
When McGill refers to "the battlefields of life," he states they were "first meadows and gardens" and he encourages us to "release the dark spell so they are meadows and gardens again." A prominent theme of ABC4All is for us to discover that we are not dealing with the "final frontier" but rather "all we are responsible for," and that we can go "From the Dark to Hope." So these concepts are consonant with McGill's notion that "we build peaceful gardens in our hearts, communities and throughout the world."
Our truest nature, he says, is to help others, to protect and love them. "The highest human choice of thought-form is love" One ABC4All Mentor says,
"Love, and then peace to the world"
The Love Foundation, home of
Global Love Day agrees:
"Love Begins With Me"
McGill is clear: "There is no greater intelligence than kindness and empathy...if you can be kind to people you will be a genius in this world."
"When we become acquainted with any person on a human level, even a great enemy, we begin to see that no person is really so different from ourselves. Wish for the happiness of your enemies, for if they are happy, they are your enemy no more."
LOVE YOUR ENEMY
Here we are alerted to an astonishing idea, one that already has been shared via ABC4All. Issues of discrimination and the most heinous mistreatment of humans against humans may exist, but each one of us at any time can look inward and recognize the inherent potential to love and be loved. McGill even addresses the fact that one can "love your enemy." Many might consider that it would be impossible to imagine that an ABC4All Mentor from Rwanda could interview, in a documentary film he created, the actual murderer in question after he (the mentor) witnessed the demise of his own family. The ABC4All Mentor did exactly that, did interview the one who killed his family in front of his own eyes. The review of this documentary film is juxtaposed to the opportunities being made available by ABC4All that have not been possible before now. This web page of ABC4All, therefore, was dedicated to the astonishing and gripping work of the Documentary Filmmaker of this ABC4All Mentor from Rwanda.
McGill is clear about citing how each of us do not have simply to succumb to the kind of brainwashing that goes on all around us in a world of crass commercialism. Instead, he urges each one of us to "Reach deep within and reconnect with the essence of your being."
The lack of common sense in the world is underscored over and over. In the case of ABC4All, "Global Common Sense" has been a focus whether in personal development or in dealing with local/national/global issues. McGill talks about the need for cooperation and collaboration rather than competition. Precisely this is how ABC4All has developed over the years, acquiring collaborating partners and cooperating parties to make possible what likely would never have been accomplished with conscious planning. Many of the developments thus have been "serendipitous" and might never have happened if all involved with ABC4All were not forging ahead with the common purpose of working together for a better world.
McGill states, "There are enough resources in the world for everyone...We must protect and share the world. Sharing IS caring." Here is an ABC4All Mantra: "ABC4All Cares. ABC4All Shares. YOU Decide.™"
McGill declares, "The world is starving for original and decisive leadership...We all desire a safer and better world; a world with more harmony and goodwill." One ABC4All Mentor states:
"There is no doubt that TakingITGlobal (home of ABC4All Global Mentoring TEAM Project with ABC4All Mentors in 118 countries to date) is the most important online place. Only TIG can help young leaders all over the world to exchange our ideas and think together about achieving the best. With TIG there is no borders between us - only what we need is to be online to make new friendships between each other and respect one another. I have a dream that I would like to live to see the day that all youth leaders in all over the world from TIG will be the real leaders in their countries. Then we will have all what we need to reach our goals, not only for youth, but for our world and our next generations."
Another ABC4All Mentor has been appointed Private Secretary to the Vice President of his country! Half the world's population is age 30 and under! President Obama has addressed the youth of the world and stated they have the wherewithal to help create a better future for themselves and for their children.
The author states, "...our voice of reason is telling us to be careful...that revolution is in the air and that life is beautiful, precious and worth preserving."
"We must have clean air and water and beautiful natural foods for everyone, everywhere." This is exactly the focus of ABC4All WorldSolutions.™ "We are all part of this global community and need to cooperate in order to bring about a safe and secure environment for all of us to enjoy the beautiful opportunities of life."
The basic question asked of ABC4All Mentors is: "What would help make your personal community better for all?" There is no one answer to such a question. The answer can change over time. Once a person starts to ask the question, the process of thinking about the answer places the individual into a mode of working towards a better community for him/herself, his family/loved ones, his/her business associates, his/her community, country and the world. Some of the answers are recorded at "Building Better Communities."
Where can A Better Community For All exist? McGill provides the answer: Wherever people listen to their "Voice of Reason."
With revolution comes changes to education as we know it, says McGill. "We should guide education away from its commercial, corporate, consumerist orientation and toward a goal of helping individuals attain inner maturity, balance and a deeply rewarding sense of fulfillment." A recommended book: "In Balance for Life" by Alex Guerrero. Recently ABC4All Mentors have inspired a petition to hold the Olympics in Africa. Then the Prime Minister of Kenya announced in an interview on CNN that Nairobi would submit a bid for the 2024 Olympics. Next ABC4All Mentors offered an alternative altogether with ideas presently being submitted for ABC4All PULSE Games:
ABC4All Champions of
Generating Ideas for ABC4All PULSE Games: ABC4All Champions of Peace, Unity, Love, Sportsmanship and Empowerment for the demonstration of Excellence in Athletics while promoting the World of A Better Community For All (ABC4All). An alternative to the commercialism presently involved with the Olympic Games restoring the original reasons they were created in the first place.
To sum up, the author of "Voice of Reason" states, "When you close your eyes to what apparently 'is,' and look inward to the infinite truth of what is possible through imagination, you will discover vast landscapes of uncharted territory, clear open spaces for all people to exist together in harmony. We can build these beautiful visions together, through respect. The essential respect is in your own heart for yourself."

with the long-term goal of creating the ABC4All Legacy wherein charitable contributions will be MATCHED/DOUBLED into Perpetuity. Achieving this mission justifies the
McGill states that "Intention is the primary concern of all individuals, the collective, the state, and all judgments worldly and purportedly beyond. Prayer, meditation, mantra and affirmation are explicit forms accessing the power of intention...We can use this power of intention." After the work of Lynne McTaggart and her "Intention Experiments," ABC4All offers INTENTION MEDITATION, including lighting candles (burn for 48 hours, but can be relit) and even offers an intention meditation group online. Reference is made to the work of Herbert Benson, M.D., whose classic, "Relaxation Response," shows that all forms of relaxation lead to the same beneficial physiological responses within the body.
In the last chapter of his book, "The Time for Revolution," McGill outlines "ways we can create a better tomorrow, recreating a new and more beautiful world for all." What is outlined here echoes the "Principles of A Better Community For All" which illustrate what ABC4All is/does and is not/does not.
Words of Wisdom by Bryant McGill:
"Go now and do what you can, and act always with the spirit of optimism, and always with love, and always for the greater good for all.
"The voice of reason is speaking, and now is the time to listen.
"The future depends on you..."
