At the very moment I began singing to her, "Never let me go......" she miraculously was able to release all of the grief that gripped her heart. Until that night she had not been able to cry. After that night she was finally free and could let go and move on. How was it that a foreigner from America, who didn't understand a word of Japanese, or know this woman's story feel impressed at the last second to dedicate a song to her? And remember this, I was singing in English and she spoke only Japanese! To me this was nothing short of a pure miracle! This also lets me know that there is something out there, whether we understand or accept it or not, that loves us and cares for us.

"Singing has always been my passion in life, besides my family and friends that is. It has been something that I do because I can't live without doing it. It is how I connect with those around me.

Music has such a great power to heal the soul.

"I feel extremely grateful and humble that I had such a connection with something so much bigger than myself on this night in Tokyo, Japan singing for someone that I didn't even understand why I was moved to do so. When you follow your heart and passion and pursue that which you were born for, miraculous things can occur. This does not mean that you will be rich and famous for the purpose of our existence is so much more than that! The people that we touch on our journey through this existence and those who touch us in return is the real prize. There is nothing material that can ever come close to my experience singing for a grieving woman who had lost her children. So, I will continue singing and doing that which I cannot live without! Finding and doing your purpose is happiness! I hope each of us can live this way, all the while making those connections to the other souls along our journey."
