What are ABC4All/COO Dual Global Citizens (DGC)™!?
What are Flying Spirits?
The Answer is One and the Same!
Dual Global Citizens (DGC)™! ARE Flying Spirits!
What's uppermost on my mind:
Steve Mistretta shares what is uppermost on his mind:
Steve Mistretta, ABC4All Mentor and member, ABC4All Team of TEAMS, has served as Volunteer for ABC4All eCommerce (in development). Steve is also Volunteer in charge of marketing for the Food for Everyone Foundation, a Non-Profit entity that travels around the world teaching people in impoverished areas how to grow gardens which will yield five to ten times more than traditional gardening methods. Perhaps the most beneficial aspect of this organic gardening method is that it allows a family to feed themselves and earn a highly important income. This income is many times reinvested into a larger garden the following years. This continuous cycle of reinvestment is one of the things of which the Foundation is most proud. In a majority of cases, these original Mittleider
gardeners then teach their fellow village members the Mittleider method. This is a classic example of our "Paying it forward" goals.
Back in early 1999, I started video conferencing company. I knew way back then that the communication potential of the Internet was something we had never seen before. My vision was to be able to connect grandmothers with granddaughters and all family members around the world. The idea of connecting soldiers to loved ones was also a strong motivating factor in the formation of the business.
This was a very beneficial 8-year learning experience. The venture did not prove to be profitable from the financial standpoint, but the learning over those 8 years was priceless.
After I had amassed this knowledge, yet the first business had failed, I was at a turning point. I was ready to give up on the Internet. Two of the key events that changed my mind was the fact that I was able to locate my biological mother and biological sister using the Internet. I still was at a loss for what or how to earn a living online. My morale was going down, and so was my financial position.
It was at that point that I really had to take a look inside myself and look at what mattered most to me in life and also the hobbies I enjoyed doing the most. What I determined was that I enjoyed teaching and assisting other people with the knowledge I had learned over the last now 9 years. I was still going through financial difficulties, so I thought, how can I apply this knowledge and learn more about being self-sufficient? So I went to Google and searched for a gardening nonprofit. I was thrilled to find the Food For Everyone Foundation which teaches the Mittleider method.
The Mittleider method is also the best gardening method on the planet, so I was very lucky. Then, in order to save money, I started using the Mittleider method to grow my own vegetables. Then I thought, why not help the Food For Everyone Foundation spread the message using the Internet marketing skills I had learned over the last 9 years.
For a short period of time, I actually owned and managed an Internet marketing firm, but frankly I became very disillusioned with the business as a whole and what specifically clients were asking me to achieve. Example: "Steve, I want to be #1 for real estate in 3 weeks. How do we make that happen?" These type of results are impossible to obtain in that short of a time. After about 20 requests of this nature, I knew that I was better off helping nonprofits and new people who were trying to learn about the Internet and make income from the Internet. This, in turn, caused the formation of Change The World U (CTWU).
Our goal on CTWU is to teach people to help themselves while they are helping nonprofits and people in their niche. Please come along on the journey and learn with all of us!
NOTE: CTWU and ABC4All are partnering to publish a series of FREE online articles aimed at assisting with the development of online eCommerce capability that will lead to Self-FUNding4All!

"Goes without saying. ABC4All is an exceptional entity that will surpass this number even before the set date. As a mentor, I will mobilize and lobby to ensure that this goal is met and we get more Mentors who realize that making a difference in someone's life is the best thing to do. Let's soldier on, we can do it because it can be done."
